How to Join

The easiest way to join the Irish Patchwork Society is to attend a branch meeting. See our branch information page to find the branch closest to you and its meeting schedule.

You are most welcome to attend two meetings at any branch as a non-member to help you decide if you would like to join. A small fee is payable to attend a branch meeting, which reduces when you are a full member.

Print and complete this membership form, bring to the branch meeting with cheque or cash payment or you can alternatively send form and cheque(no cash) direct to the postal address. Cheques should be payable to the "Irish Patchwork Society".

The membership year starts in September and as a member you
  • receive a quarterly newsletter
  • may attend branch meetings
  • participate in branch and national organised events such as exhibitions, classes and workshops, local and international speakers and teachers
  • become a member of the European Quilting Association
However, the most important feature of the IPS is the opportunity to meet and learn from quilters of all levels and interests, traditional and contemporary, beginners to international exhibitiors and teachers.

Existing members renewing their membership should do so at their September branch meeting or direct to Membership Secretary via the postal address.
